PLEASE NOTE: WE'VE MOVED WHOLE EARTH INTERNATIONAL'S PREVIOUS SITE TO A NEW SITE:
CHRISTIANS AGAINST SLAVERY IS A HUMAN TRAFFICKING, CHILD SLAVE LABOR & SEX SLAVERY INFO, NEWS, NETWORK & RESOURCE SITE

|

We want to feature and
show you the same anti-slavery ministries & charities that WE have
chosen to support after much prayer and consideration. Whole Earth
International's goal is to raise awareness and help raise money to
donate to those in the fight to END human & sex trafficking, child slave
labor and child soldiers. Whole Earth International has started
several donation pages at First Giving through Whole Earth and our ChocoJava Justice Campaign
(fighting child labor and slavery in both the coffee and cocoa industries.) You
can choose to make a donation right from this site and the money goes
directly to our featured charities through First Giving's secure server!
(And you can forward the donation page to everyone you know that would be
interested in helping.)
We are involved in two Christian Network Marketing companies, Our Mission Coffee and Choconat
Raw Dark Chocolate, because of their principles and mission to provide
Fair Trade, organic products for health and wellness AND to help stop
slavery and empower
farmers in the cocoa and coffee industries. We specifically joined these
programs to raise money to donate to OTHER front line anti human
trafficking and slave labor ministries and charities. We also LOVE
that these programs offer YOU the opportunity to enjoy delicious, healthy
organic products AND make extra income (or even create a new career.) You
can realize your own dreams and goals as you help others realize theirs!
This first page features ministries working
to stop child labor and free child soldiers.

CHILD LABOR SLAVES IN THE COCOA &
COFFEE INDUSTRIES AND POVERTY RELIEF |
Supporting non-profits like Samaritan's Purse helps sponsor children, and
sponsored children don't get stolen, or even unknowingly sold by
uneducated parents to slave traders. Slave scouts often tell parents that
their kids will get an education and a job (and then the kids get sold and
are forced to work and live like animals with no pay and certainly no
schooling.) Samaritan's Purse has a campaign in Liberia, a poor, war
torn country where children routinely get trafficked to work on coffee
and/or cocoa plantations on the Côte d'Ivoire (more commonly known as the
Ivory Coast.) When communities are sponsored and rebuilt, their children
remain protected and safe.
(The graphic
at leftt
does NOT go to a First Giving page because this type of group sponsorship cannot be
done online.)
World Vision offers sponsorship of
children in poor cocoa producing countries and we've chosen to
shine the light on their efforts in Mali and Ghana, desperately poor
countries that are a huge "supply source" for those who traffic in
child slavery for the coffee & cocoa plantations. Sponsoring children helps break the
human trafficking chain...we repeat, sponsored children don't get
sold or stolen! We have several ways to use the coffee and
chocolate to sponsor children; please call Janet Byers at 615-612-8250 for more information. |

Heifer
envisions a world of communities living together in peace and
equitably sharing the resources of a healthy planet. Their
strategy is to "Pass on the Gift."
As people share their animals’ offspring with others – along with
their knowledge, resources, and skills – an expanding network of
hope, dignity, and self-reliance is created that reaches around the
globe. This
simple idea of giving families a source of food rather than
short-term relief caught on and has continued for over 65 years.
 We've
chosen to support two specific programs in the same countries where
Our Mission Coffee buys their organic
coffee directly from farmer co-ops and pay 70% ABOVE the Fair Trade
price.
This DOUBLES your impact if you buy our coffee
AND join with Heifer International to help change the lives of
coffee farmers! One brings empowerment to the farmers as well
as exceptional coffee delivered to your door...the other option is a
direct donation to a worthy cause that will help the inequality and
injustice faced by many hard working farmers.

MINISTRIES HELPING CHILD SOLDIERS |
Project:
AK 47 is unlike any other group helping children in armed conflict.
They work with the GOVERNMENTS in war torn
countries through the process of educating the kids. The governments
see the benefit in education and are willing participants in the process. Then the kids are
rescued, restored and educated. This not only stops the horror
of war in their young lives, it empowers a future generation.

The Machine Gun Preacher is the nickname that
was given to Sam . He was on a mission trip and God grabbed
ahold of his heart for the plight of children who were kidnapped and
forced to become child soldiers. He picked up a machine gun and
literally battled for these kids...AND opened an orphanage for them in the
middle of a war zone!
Whereas PART of Sudan was liberated, fighting
still continues in the other part...kids are still being abducted and
former child soldiers need to learn how to live now that they're free.
The orphanage restores these kids on every level. |
