We want to feature and
show you the same anti-slavery ministries & charities that WE have
chosen to support after much prayer and consideration. Whole Earth
International's goal is to raise awareness and help raise money to
donate to those in the fight to END human & sex trafficking, child slave
labor and child soldiers. This page features sex trafficking
ministries because this is the largest human trafficking problem inside the
United States today. FBI statistics show that 8 in 10 cases in the U.S.
involved women and children forced into the sex trade; 83% were U.S. citizens
and 88% were under the age of 25.

 Mercy
Ministries has provide help for troubled girls since 1983. They
provide a free-of-charge residential program to help young women face
difficult life circumstances such as pregnancy, eating disorders, cutting
and other issues.They have the only
shelter in Nashville for sex trafficked teens and offer young women caught
up in the world of sex trafficking long term healing, the love of Christ
and hands on skills training to help sex trafficking victims regain their
stolen lives. |
 Collette Bercu works out of a tiny office in Franklin, TN with her
beautiful dogs and constantly ringing phones. She is a tireless
champion for saving girls caught in sex trafficking. We've chosen to focus on the

Free For Life
supports shelters and is the sole source of support for several important
needs for the shelters such as counseling and guards to keep the rescued
girls safe.

the Joyce Meyer Ministries website: "Young women and children are
forced into prostitution, manual labor, illegal international adoption,
early marriages or warfare. Many are held in bondage and beaten to
suppress resistance.
"Our goal is to rescue these victims of human
trafficking and show them that they are precious and loved by God.
"That's why we operate children's homes and
feeding programs in countries like India and Ethiopia."

 Beauty From Ashes, founded by Julie Shematz,
is a Christian ministry in Ft. Meyers, Florida that helps "Victims Become
Over-Comers." They work with prostitutes and strippers and help them
escape that lifestyle. They also work to stop child sex trafficking
and promote awareness about the commercial sex trade.

their Freedom Homes Project, a shelter for sex trafficking victims.
They run a constant stream on Twitter with new articles about child
trafficking and pimp busts around the nation. |
 The
founders of Love 146 saw a little girl in a brothel in Southeast Asia who had been
given a number...she'd not only lost her childhood, she had even lost her name
and identity when the sex traffickers stole her life.
Her number was 146 and they could see she
still had the will to fight. She was gone when they went back to try
to rescue her.

 Stop
Child Trafficking Now works to not only rescue and restore sexually
exploited children, they work to put traffickers, pimps and pedophiles in
jail. Their website states: "The simple economic principle of
supply and demand drives the industry. Where demand exists, supply also
exists.
"As long as buyers and traffickers go undeterred in exploiting
children, there will continue to be a market for them. By focusing efforts
on stopping demand, the cycle is interrupted and a child’s innocence can
be protected." |
 Dr.
Lois Lee is a pioneer in the movement to stop child sex trafficking and
raise awareness of the plight of teens caught in the ugly world of
prostitution.

shelters for sex trafficked teens has been in her mind for many, many
years and we'd like to see her dream become a reality! Children of
the Night is located in Los Angeles, California and through their WOW
program, and
working in conjunction with 1-800-RUNAWAY, they are establishing shelters for trafficked teenagers throughout the United
States.

Teen Shelter in Nashville offers safety and support to the most vulnerable, disconnected,
troubled and homeless
youth in Nashville, while seeking to also teach young people how to transform the
conditions that create problems for them in the first place.
